OUR CAUSE: MY BROTHER'S TABLE

The full $25 base price of every ticket sold, along with every donation made to The Sound of Shadows, directly supports My Brother’s Table, a lifeline food pantry serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness and hunger in our community.

A personal connection on Washington Street

As a lifelong Lynn resident, I grew up on Washington Street and now find myself living once again right across from My Brother's Table. Seeing the harsh realities of homelessness and hardship firsthand every single day sparked a deep desire to help in a compassionate, meaningful way. Having grown up in poverty and lived around it all my life, I have always believed that you should take what you need from this world and not what you want. This performance is an extension of that core conviction.

Why this vital support matters now

In our community, there is a visible disconnect between the rise of expensive condominiums and the urgent need for accessible, affordable housing. No one deserves to go to bed hungry in a nation blessed with so much abundance. We have set a dedicated fundraising goal of $10,000 for this December production, and we are working directly alongside the leadership of My Brother's Table to ensure these funds provide immediate, tangible relief to our neighbors who rely on their essential nourishment.

How you can make an impact today

If you cannot attend the live performance in December, you can still make a profound difference by making an online contribution through our Online Donations page.” If monetary support is not possible right now, consider offering your time as a volunteer at My Brother's Table. Above all, remember that our homeless neighbors are human beings deserving of dignity, care, and connection. A kind greeting or acknowledging someone with respect can be just as powerful as any gift.

"I don't need anything. You stopped and said 'Hello.' That means more to me than anything."
